Domain redirect

    Hi,i bought a domain on hostgator (only domain) and i want to do a redirect,could anyone help me?
    i'am a newbie.

    i search everything,i contacted the live chat of hostgator and he said i have to point the domain to an active server,but i don't know how to do this

    You need to read hostgator's basic tutorial. Then you can simply redirect via PHP or using their own DNS redirects.

    Install a control panel in your server. You can manage all those stuffs like domain redirect and many more such things easily through the control panel.

    My suggestion is go for cPanel if have a linux server and if you have a windows server then go for plesk panel.

    In cpanel, click on addon domain, then add your domain into it. once you do it then go to domain redirect section click on your domain which you want to redirect, select the new domain where you want to redirect and select redirect type, and its done.

    Put in php file:
    header("Location: h t t p://w w w. abc.com");

    2 options:
    From Godaddy (somebody put the link up)
    From cpanel, redirect section, wild redirect. You will need to addon the domain to do it.
