I need advice for domain selection for this keyword. EMD are all taken. There is a org available for the plural version of this keyword but kwfinder shows MUCH lower traffic for plural. Will, for example, "all{keyword} dot com" or "{keyword}review dot com" with keyword targeted content perform ok for this low competition?? Or is EMD not an advantage anymore and just create branded domain and target keyword.? Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't change much being plural or not. In my experience EMD doesn't help with ranking much anymore. Furthermore, branded is way better if you ever plan on looking for real guest posting. What looks more like a real website that's not just trying to sell a product. bestbasketballshoes.com or basketballfever.com

Also Kwfinder is a fun tool but make sure you do more research. Those keyword tools aren't that great.

Plural or not doesn't really matter, but I wouldn't use an EMD for other reasons: While they still have a slight (not as much as in the past) ranking advantage, EMDs are much more fragile when it comes to anchor overoptimization and they always look a bit more spammy than "real" names. So, chances of accidentially messing something up, especially if you don't have experience with them (e.g., there are no brand anchors for them, a brand link to an EMD is always a keyword link), are much higher when using EMDs.

PM me a similar substitute Keyword I'll send you a list of available names with that similar keyword. You can change the name around and run them through the bulk check.

EMDs and PMDs used to work well, but google has decreased their value a lot for commercial keywords. Tho you can use plural and still rank it for your kw. If you can get a short and "brandable" looking EMD (depends on the niche and kw-s), you should get it, but don't stuff your domain with kw-s, that doesn't work anymore.
