Domain Rating

Have a quick question about domain rating on Ahrefs.

I first started getting backlinks and my DR went from nothing to 20 pretty quickly (couple days), and now have doubled my backlinks from there from mostly 50+ DR PBN's and my DR went from 20 to 25 and then has stayed there (over last 3 months). Wondering how normal this is?

I'm assuming DR isn't a straight line compared to linking domains but just kind of wondering what people know about this. Having trouble finding much information on it.

It's just a third party metric I would be more focused on your ranking keywords and data from something like Google Analytics

Backlinks is what effects your DR, this metric basically tells how strong a backlink profile of a certain website is.

Yep, it's a logarithmic scale, so an uphill trek. But it's pretty much all link based: https://ahrefs.com/blog/domain-rating/
