There's two components. Purchasing the domain name depends on it's desireability. There are specials as low as $1.00 and it could as high as the hundreds or thousands. Theft protection comes standard, and identity protection might cost an extra $10.00 per year. If by "DNS management" you mean the ability to point the DNS servers to whatever host you have, that comes standard.

For hosting, you can get a HostGator package that will cost about $10.00 per month. Mail forwarding comes standard, as do the "bulk tools" (word press, etc...)
