i have a brand name domain.which is i am planning for shirts, shorts and etc.
it has that catchy theme.but the problem should i register my domain for patent or some shit in case ppl tend to copywrite
cause i have enter this niche which i believe to be big.my name could be a brand, let says i dont register my name can they steal my shit?
the problem is that i cant register for business.i am not of legal age,my parents not really supportive of my program dun think they will use
their name..

any suggestion?

It's tough, mate.

My instant reaction would be to tell you to register for the business name if you really believed that your project had potential. The last thing you'd want is for things to take off only to have someone swoop in and force you to alter your brand later on.

That being said though, the fact that you're under age only makes things tougher because registering a business - even for people who can - is a somewhat complicated process.

I think your options are limited at the moment. Register your domain and start your journey. If you notice that things are starting to take off and you're gaining an encouraging amount of business/traffic, then go to your parents and pitch the idea to them again.

Use your traffic statistics and/or sales as evidence and pitch it to them as a smart investment. If you go to them as someone with an idea they're looking to secure who has clearly put in the research, as opposed to a kid with their hand out asking for money, you might be surprised by their response!

Good luck.

This is probably your only option atm

Branding your product or site will help you protecting them. If there is someone wants to duplicate or plagiarize your product, they will be punished because of it and should pay you some money based on how much profit they get from the plagiarized goods

JJ, register your domain, then register your company as a legit legal entity will be enough in Singapore. :)
You can register as a sole proprietorship or a limited liability partnership. My advice is to do a LLP cos legally is safer, less problems.. ;)
Go read up on ACRA and i can't reply your PM, apologies.. add me on FB if you want to talk more about the questions you have.
