Lets say I want a domain like creditcardadvance.com (just as an example). Obviously it's taken, as it credit-card-advance.com (.net and .org taken also).

What if creditcardadvance1.com and credit-card-advance-1.com were available:

Would those be any good?
Would the SEs ignore the 1 at the end of creditcardadvance1.com?
Would the SEs ignore the 1 at the end of credit-card-advance-1.com?
Are there too many dashes in credit-card-advance-1.com?
If so, if I used credit-card-advance1.com, would the SEs ignore the 1?

Thanks in advance!

Somebody please help

I always ignore number in domain... why not just replace the 1 to some meaningful word?

e.g. "center", "hub", "zone", "area", "tips", "site" ....etc

At least you have one more keyword juice in domain.

Ok, so if I go with the 4th word, what would the SE's like better for search term credit card advance - creditcardadvancehub.com or credit-card-advance-hub.com?

Depends on your SEO. Of course SE prefers without "-".

Priority is given to example: dogtraining.com compares to dog-training.com.

What keywords are you trying to rank for, and are you planning on implementing only white hat methods?

To let you know this category is VERY competitive, meaning it could take months and thousands of dollars to rank for some of the popular keywords in the credit card niche.

Take a look at
http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/

find some long tail keywords in the credit card niche and go for those. To answer your domain question, they will not ignore the 1 but your content is much more important than the url, so i'd be more concerned about that. Same goes for the dashes, personally the undashed looks cleaner, but your ranking will mainly be determined by your content, the amount, how optimized it is, your links, their relevancy, etc.

Personally i think you would be much more successful finding a small niche with little to no competition then ranking for that.

FYI - credit card advance is just an example, not the keyword phrase I want to use. I will just continue to use it as such for purposes of this discussion.

So, if I wanted credit card advance as a phrase and creditcardadvance(.com, .net, .org) and credit-card-advance(.com, .net, .org) were taken, what would be alternative good options? Should I add a "1" or a 4th word like "site" or "hub" at the end? And if so, with or without the dashes?

And I am planning on site optimization, articles, press releases, and possibly doorway pages & cloaking, although that's another problem all together since there are so many options/opinions and it's unclear to a seo noob exactly which direction to follow.
