Yesterday, a member from the forum bought this domain name for me. But since I am new to these issues and my English is poor, I would like to ask you.

I live in turkey. I buy web hosting from Turkey, does it slow down my website for different countries?

How can I make a project for this domain name? What should I do? Where should I start?

I really have no experience in these matters.

Install wordpress on that domain, and start from there. Lot's of tutorial on how to make a website.

Consider using a CDN, so that users from all around the world get their assets (images/scripts) served quickly. I recommend checking out BunnyCDN.

It will have some latency for sure (for users far away from Turkey), but depending on why you need the response to be "fast"; it might actually not be a problem. a 100ms delay might be nothing while loading a page, but it could ruin the user experience for example if you are hosting a game server.

Sounds like a decent fit for a travel blog
or you could give people country tips like what they need to bring aka visa requires etc
or good preps before visiting another country
or places to visit

& as Blackhat Lifter said, if you don't want visitors to be impacted by site speed, look into CDN options.

Digital Ocean is what I recommend for your case. With that, may be Cloudflare CDN.

Keep in mind, that you usually get what you pay for. However, a tactic that many people use is to start their site out with a cheap hosting package, and once it starts to be profitable move to a faster server.

I think I would get from Turkey due to the exchange rate.

I'll get this web hosting for $5. This price is for a year. A high price when you pay in Turkish lira. But it's cheap with the dollar. The Turkish lira is worthless. My budget is much lower due to foreign currency.

I would suggest you go with a low plan of vultr high frequency compute plan which will cost you $6 per month(VPS 1GB RAM With 32 Nvme SSD) with bunny CDN. My point of view is about Cloudflare free plan is not working well.
