Domain priority - org or com?

Hey guys as your the most trusted source for me for my all quiries or problems!! I would like to know from you guys...
tha i m planning to book a domain for my company, tell me your opininone on which would be the best choice for me .org or .com ?

My targeted countries are...
USA, UK, Australia, Newzeland, Canada etc..

and i m services based industry. So what would u suggest me ? is there any specific priority in google for .org and .com ?

Would love to hear from you guys with specific reasons...

.com all the way. Only get .org or .net when .com is taken. This is because generally people love .com domain name and it becomes a norm that someone will just add .com at the end when they search for a website. You will get direct traffic from a .com domain name.

Just compare google.com and google.org

If you're not concerned with type-in traffic, branding or name recognition, you don't need to worry about this one. However, if you're at all serious about building a successful website over the long-term, you should be worried about all of these elements, and while directing traffic to a .net or .org is fine, owning and 301'ing the .com is critical. With the exception of the very tech-savvy, most people who use the web still make the automatic assumption that .com is all that's out there - don't make the mistake of locking out or losing traffic to these folks.

.org should never be your 1st choice when .com is available, unless you have very very specific goals, and even then you should buy both, for a measly $10 you can't go wrong.

.com definitely comes to peoples mind first for a professional site. for me .org reminds me of a charity

There's no reason to choose anything but a .com , only thing is that some of the others may be a little cheaper. A .com looks more professional and that's not a bad thing!

My first priority is to go with .com if .com is not available then you can purchase .net or.org

If all in one phrase.com is taken, is it better to go for a domain.net or shall I get something like eg. buy-baby-accessories.com (I mean with dashes but still .com) or shall I rather go for buybabyaccessories.net Thannks a million!

.ORG is for a non-profit organization. .COM Is used for worldwide communication whether it be selling or just purely world wide information.

It really doesn't matter what you are using, if the content of your site is good enough, a .org domain will rank better than a .com domain.

Of course .orgs and .nets rank and often rank well, but evidence points to the fact that .coms would have ranked even better everything being equal. People trust .com and Google knows it.
