I've tried typos of famous websites. One of them being hotma9l.com. It got around 1 visit per day until I grace deleted it. I have another one, which is the best one, which gets like 2-3 hits a day!! (astonishing)

Now, I know for a fact that there are people who earn $xx per day on a typo so I cannot fathom how that's possible. I know all typos are not equal but you can't tell me that my typo gets 1 hit per day, while another one gets thousands upon thousands.

I also regged an expired domain with 1.6 million backlinks 1-2 weeks ago. It got 0 hits so far. I am now looking into backordering or buying from GD closeut domains with a similarweb rank. Those MUST get some clicks, right? After all, they've been getting traffic consistently for months.

My question is how? What sort of inside knowledge am I missing? What should I do? What's the exact best way to park?

I understand that it's in NO ONE's interest to give this sort of information away, but I'm counting on statistics. If thousands of people see this, there's a chance that, for whatever reason, someone might help me. A PM is preferable if you're going into the specifics.

Thanks in advance.

That's how domain parking works. I have seen people receiving few hundred $ per click (not per month or day or whatever). There's a lot more in domain parking than just buying a domain and parking it with some companies. Take a look at Namepros website, they have tons of great info there.

I already am on namepros. The issue is that no one and I mean no one is willing to share how they earn money from parking. I am posting here on the off chance that someone will help.

Some expired domains may show lot of backlinks but no traffic at all. If you are speaking of registering a new domain expecting typo traffic => it could be a gamble. Instead try to buy from sellers who show earning stats on typo domains.

Yeah, I purchased an expired domain with 1.6 million backlinks and it got no hits. Money well spent on a lesson learned.

Yeah, I know. I have xvide9os.com. I expected since the original site has billions of monthly visits, this one must at least get something. Yet it doesn't. It generates like 100 views per month or somewhat more. The only way I see people profiting from a typo domain is having a good one for high CPC niche domain and hoping for 1 click per month.

Instead try to buy from sellers who show earning stats on typo domains.

12 months worth of revenue is the usual price, right? It seems like very slow profit. Also risky, since numbers can change.

Typo domain's don't get much traffic.. only keyword rich domain with good niche get good epc
