Domain Parking - Making Money Without Developing? New Domain Names

This is a cheap concept that I would like some help on. I know people have done this before.. so I would like your help on this as well. I'm thinking about Reging about 25 .info domains for $1.99 each and then parking them on Sedo.com.

Recently I made about 15 websites using the EPN and it has worked out great so far. But, one had to be taken down due to copyright issues.. anywase before I transferred the domain over to the company, I stuck it at Sedo and it was getting about 3-5 clicks a day.. I know that is not but about $.20 with the keyword I was using.

Everyone here has their own tactics of promoting their website. My tactics usually takes about 5 hours & even more depending on how motivated I am.. I was just wondering if I was to buy $50 worth of .info domains if I would be able to make that $50 back, and if so how long would it take?

My advertising tactics are what you'll use as well: social bookmarking, directory submits (hundreds), link building & software submission w/ pad files, & youtube. And the occasional programs that I download weekely which I have no clue about..lol

My main problem is that I can't get any SEO because it's a parked domain.

But, I was just wondering if any of you out there is having success with a tactic like this. If, so what recomendations would you use for keywords? Such as a domain with "casino" in it because it pays more?

Not really sure if this would work.. but I'll try it once I get some more insight. Also, want to note that someone could possibly even buy the domain on Sedo since it would be for sale as well.. It's a low cost plan and just need some help on better promoting techniques, and keyword/domain choice.

My opinion is that promoting parked pages is a waste of time (and therefore, resources).

How do you succesfully promote a webpage full of ads? No one wants to go to youtube looking for something, and then gets redirected to pages like those. Even I got pissed when I stumbled upon these on google.

You should instead buy a couple of .infos, register in some CPA networks, build a site around the products you are promoting and promote those same websites! Isn't this more logical to you? The income will be far greater with far less time spent.

Parked pages are just something you do when you have a couple of extra domains and you have no time to do something with them. Someone (just like it happens with me some times) will stumble uppon your parked pages and give you some pocket change, which is better than being unused, but isn't in any way a viable method to be your only source of income.

Might as well sign up for an affiliate program and promote the offer , thats eaiser then promoting parked websites. IMO

Appreciate your answers. and I would just like to note:

1.) It would take less time because I wouldn't have to develop a website.
2.) I wouldn't have to worry about if the offer was only up for a short period of time.
3.) Parked domains are almost always guaranteed pay.. unlike many email submits these days.
4.) Also I have the opportunity to sell the domain.

If my advertising techniques work and it does become profitable, I could just keep putting up a new domain every day and just make more money. I'm just trying to diversify my income, and want to get a steady income.

you need a really big load of website if you want to make some serious cash with domain parking. i think you should rather concentrate on building websites because your earning potential would be much higher.

Domain Parking is very profitable.

We spread our domain between NameDrive.com , SEOcreation.com and Parked.com

Domains are also listed on Sedo for sales but found their parking to be crap.

personally for me, sedo has been good, and parking is quite good if u have a domain with traffic.
its against the rules to promote a parked domain. So what is to be done?
make a website....any....promote it, build traffic. take down site, transfer to parking.
They accept expired traffic. ;-)
