People know that you are not big if you use .tk! If all domains were free, then bam it would be popular then!

If all domains were free, people would abuse the f of them and register everything they can.You wouldn't be able to register a domain, because everything would be taken, you could only buy a domain on a marketplace, for bigger price than domain registration.

There are certain registrar giving free domains for some duration say 6 months to 1 year. Where you can get domains like .tk .ga and some thing like this. If you want some professional domain names sure you have to spend some money on it.

All i can say is domains should not have an expiry date. Renewal cost more then buying a domain.
