Domain names that are banned on FB

Hey guys,


I'm wondering what are the domain names that are banned from facebook,

I'm asking before I can buy a ccTLD domain,

Here is the list I'm interested to buy: .ru, .su, .is, .cr, .to, .se, .co

What do you think?

try to post domain on fb and it will warn you if domain is banned

I assume they do not ban domain name extensions. They ban domains. So if you are going to register a few new domain names chose any domain name extension. I believe you will have no issues with them.

Here's a simple trick that should help you:

Whenever you want to check if a particular extension is blocked on Facebook or not, just look for 2-3 domains that are already using that extension.

Suppose I want to check for .ru

Here are some of the websites I know for the .ru extension: yandex.ru, mail.ru, rbc.ru

Then go to: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Check all the domains one by one. If one shows blocked, use another because there is a possibility that the particular domain you tried is blocked instead of the entire extension being blocked. That's why I asked to keep 2-3 domains ready for checking.
