I am currently studying the Commision BluePrint 2.0 course, in it, it states in one section that you should try to include include your keyword name in your domain name. Then in another section on domain name auction purchases, it never mentions bidding only on domains that is in your niche or much less, has the keyword in the domain name. Am I missing something? Or do I just try and buy a domain with a decent PR and find a niche that relates to that domain name? I am not understanding the purpose of just bidding and buying domain names with PR if they don't relate to your niche, or is it that I should only get names that will relate to my niche but just not have specific keyword in the domain name. Sorry , but I am a newbie as you can probably tell.:(

Ideally you want to include a good keyword/s (ones to do with your niche) in your domain name as Google does give a good weighting to the domain name. Personally, I don't pay attention to PR when buying a name, if I find a good domain that has good potential then I buy it and develop it based on its keywords. Hope that helps somewhat.

Thanks a lot! I think I have it sorta figured out. I should buy a domain name with a PR, if the name is not exactly as my keyword, then I should add the keyword to the end of the URL . ( xxx.anydomain.com will change to xxx.anydomain.com/mynichekeyword.htm) this is what I can gather.

if your kw is nicheon and your domain is nicheon you get more power when it comes to ranking.

Try and get the best keyword match that you can for example if you can get nichekeyword.com or some variation (different tld, dashes etc.) - do not be bothered about PR until YOU have developed the site.
