Domain name set to expire ?

Hi Friends,

Yes...i know, its probably been started on some other thread.----but i did a search and couldn't find ANYTHING on this subject.

QUESTION: I see a domain that is getting ready to expire. The MOFO, is registered through that SCUMBAG co. Godaddy (why for the love of Christ anyone would deal with them is beyond me) BUT it is what it is AND I would like to "snatch that site" (if possible).

Does anyone know how TO GET setup to "snipe" (purchase) a site that is getting ready to expire?

You can use software like DesktopCatcher to catch the domain after it expires and drops. However, with GoDaddy they put domains through auction before they reach the pendingdelete stage. That means you (or someone else) could purchase the name for a slightly higher price before it ever gets the chance to drop. Look at what day it expires, and start watching the closeouts at auctions.godaddy.com about 25-30 days after that and you may see it showing up there.

Mate, it's always about the Top dollar.

There was a thread here or someone online which exposed some of shaddy business godaddy does.

If it is Godaddy, they will get in the auction rather than making the domain available for sale.
