Hey guys,

today I'm gonna register a domain name to use it in the future to a dropshipping clothes shop, my 1st one.

The name of the brand it's catchy, I verified with a couple of friends if it would stick in their head or not. But now I'm wondering if adding shop or store in the domain name would make any difference because if I add it becomes kinda ugly while reading it. I mean, ugly aesthetically to the eye of the clients while reading the domain name, kinda feels like it overwhelms mine and their eyes.

Should I stick simply with the brand name? It will be a .com extension

100% just stick with your brand name. As soon as people land on your site they will see it is a store and chances are if you are sending paid traffic or advertising products they will get the idea - no need to add shop or store to your domain. Especially if your friends confirmed it's catchy.

Good luck with your dropshipping endeavors mate :)

Thank you for the info.

Yeah, I kinda thought it was obvious but, for some reason, needed to hear from someone else to avoid a simple mistake like this ;)

Most clothing brand, and i mean no a single one has "shop" on domain or shop Logo!

The main brands do not use it, but I've seen some online shops using .shop extensions or they have shop as part of their domain names. You right, I need to follow the steps of the bigger one to learn from it, not the small ones.

Screw "shop!" Just build your brand.

Let's go!! ;)
