Domain name or free?

I will soon be making my first affiliate site and after reading a lot and seeing the Ewen Chia 24 hour business videos I was wondering if it would be best to first try a little with a free blog (like weebly) or a domain name/host. Because in his videos he works with a paid domain name. Would it be a great difference regarding to SEO? Also, would it be best to create a blog specific about 1 product or make it reusable so you can add a new post every time there's a new product?

If you have a little cash always get your own domain as you have no control of what happens on free web sites. That way any work you do is always yours and you're buiding an asset you could sell later.

One Blog or many it depends on the niche and how big it is. I'd start with a tightly themed niche to start with and as you earn more money branch out.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering whether or not I should go BH or WH for SEO? I'm planning on making a site regarding weight loss which won't be banned by google. Is this a great risk with BH?
