Domain name length

I am creating my first niche website, found a .net domain with 2400 direct monthly searches and good CPC. However, the domain is lengthy with 21 letters (three words), is it ok to create niche site with such lengthy domain.

It's fine if the domain isn't something like "cymotrichous-hair-now" or "beat-odontalgia-easily". The key factor to consider is complexity, because it should be easy enough to remember and write.

It's not bad, but there is a problem with brand building and stuff with domain such as that, but if you are going for a pure traffic from seo you can do it

I personally would not use such a domain

I will be completely relying on SEO for traffic.

The length is fine if it A) makes sense and B) isn't more than 4 words long (5 if there is an "a" and "the" in there or other short words).

If like you said you're only relying on SEO then it doesn't matter what it is. But of course it's better if it's not too complex and can be remembered, then later on if you want to grow the website into an authority one it wont be a issue.

In my opinion i never seen any success for such lengthy domain name better you can use alternate words to make it short
People are too lazy to type such a long name.

I suggest you to use short domain names instead of using a lengthy domain name.....

You should be able to get some SEO traffic with such a domain.

Note that if the domain is exact match you can face an extra part of Google's algorithm. Not much benefit in EMD for 2015 onward. For a niche site branding isn't important so you can go with it.

IMO i would for a branded domain name instead, something memorable. EMD isnt ranking as much as before anymore, so there is no point shooting for exact match long letters domain names.
