for running offers with facebook traffic, how important is your domain name?

Im just starting out, and thinking about getting a domain name like "thedeal.com" to use as a launch pad to test landing pages and offers.

Do you think its better to have a relevant domain name when running ads on facebook? (are the rules for group posting campaigns different from the paid campaigns?)

Hi, mate. If your domain name matches your company name, it reinforces your brand, making it easier for customers to remember and return. It will also be easier to win business via word of mouth because customers will remember your name and pass it along to friends.

Solid advice here:

In terms of branding (which is vital in social media), a domain name is hugely important. I would venture to say that it is much more important than most people realize.

Are you more likely to buy from (trust in) a vendor named Nike... or a vendor named Hey-How-About-Deez-Shoes?

That said, domains like "thedeal" have been registered since the 90s, so if you're looking to hand-register a domain name off the shelf, you will have to get creative ... or perhaps you can change your company name to a suitable domain that you have found to be available.

Hey, if you would like to choose a domain name, you should keep it as simple as possible. don't make it hard to read or pronounce.

If it is possible, make it one word will be better. don't exceed three words, that'll be too complicated.

For example, the former name of Facebook was "The Facebook", then it switched it to Facebook to make it easier to read and remember.

Hope it helps
