domain.com sucks man.. stay away..

First thing, you have pay 9.99$ for privacy.
Then, for some reason, they only accepts credit card payments.
Paypal option is there, but it says Paypal got some problem.

Then, signup process sucks.
You have to check "No I dont want" button for some times.
Then you have to manually add url forwarding, email forwarding, domain lock, dns management. Usually every domain provider automatically assigns these things. But on domain.com, you have to select them manually..

I will stick with namecheap and netfirms. So far I have found these two's are reliable. Free privacy, coupons etc..
 
i LIKE NETFIRMS TOO but i have to pay 20% VAT tax as EU customer...do u know any way to avoid VAT? :D
 
register from a non .eu friend, then get login details from him.
 
They just suck.. Bought a domain with them two days ago, took money and they locked my account for no reason.
The domain appears to be unregistered everywhere and their support ain't replying.
 
lol.. funny thing is, last year they have a promotion for 0.99$ domain.
I registered one through paypal and got the domain.. there was no problem.

3 days ago i tried to register another domain, but the checkout saying paypal have some problem. and only CC option is there..
 
I had the same problem during a godaddy sale of the same idea, they didn't want paypal for some reason, probably due to large fees.
 
for netfirms just change your address. 1st order was vat then I changed it to avoid that shit :) now i dont pay vat. i just chose tax exempt region or sth like that.
 
thx, but when I changed my address in Account Information they still charge me with VAT shit....
 
where did you change it to ? for my country it had a tax exempt region which I picked maybe thats the key here. idk if you use your real info etc if not you might want to try another country ... if you pay with paypal should not matter.
 
why do you change the address? if they need it fuck them with their VAT. Why they charge VAT only for EU customers?
 
their billing records shows i have to pay VAT jeez even when i paid with paypal....last time when i paid with paypal i had to choose region ..and in a hurry i chose EU .....and now i cant change it so i am pissed quite a lot :D....
It sucks because in other us/can registrats i dont have to pay VAT...

i got a 0.99c coupon from the facebook page and registred a domain but didin't got it and my accoutn got disabled
Stay away from them
