Back far before 2012, it's not as antique as nowadays.. I was guessing around $x000 but couldn't be above 1k

2-letters dot com domains are still selling for a fortune nowadays

I've been domianing for just over 6 months and have sold 2 domains so far. You need to build a large portfolio to make a living from it, but if you enjoy doing the research is a fairly easy game to get in to.

The 3 ways to approach research is either "brandables, trends or as mentioned high SEO value.

Well, that happened to me. I bought a domain for $1k around 4-5 years ago and, a few months ago I sold it for $10k.

So yea, it sometimes work!
