assuming I found a domain name similar to this format "word"pin.com "

and that "word" (without the use of pin in the domain name )had an exact match of over 100,000 searches per/month with low competition

And I know its a broad question ...

but would it seam feasable to buy that domain name?...and then develop it on a pinboard type website?

If you ACTUALLY find something like that, here's a question right back at the one you asked. Do you want to make money?

One could think that the domain you found is rare but by simply getting a list of some of the most common english words and running it through my domain check tool with the word pin appended after each word, I can tell you that what you found isn't too special. Sorry :)

    For example:

    afterpin.com
    butpin.com
    largepin.com
    putpin.com
    ofpin.com
    offpin.com
    dancepin.com

and my favorite PEOPLEPIN.com (The word people has globally 4,090,000 searches per month) are all available for registering.

From the results I can also tell that domains with the word pin as a suffix are quite popular:

    thanks for the replies
for sure the only reason is to attempt to make money.....the "word" before"pin" ...is a word I am hearing used very regularly amongst teenagers...ya ya I know ...they dont have money to spend ....unless its dads CC

I dont really care to have the word "pin" in the url but the single word is already taken as a domain name............and pinning is a big deal again with kids.......according to my kid 16yo....she says facebook is dead...she done use it ..and none of here friends do either.....it is all pinterest and instagram ...only ,and twitter

I guess it would really boil down to how it was monetized .....I may buy it actually 2 ....(variations of the same word )...then I will give up the name here and see what you guys think....

    Appreciate the replies
