when i'm buying a domain name at active domain on checkout it offers me some addons like automated link building and web domination . Has anyone tried these or recommend them?

Don't do it, they will probably rip you off. Whois protection is the only addon I buy if it doesn't come free. Just order a few SEO services from BHW or fiverr, will probably be much more effective
