How do they still own this domain name? Why wasn't the domain name deleted?

Domains go into grace period after they expire.

It is a protection for customers if they have incorrect/outdated billing information on their automatic renewal, etc, etc...

hugedomains is really the dirtiest company in all of domaining! hope they go bankrupt so many stories about them manipulating the market!

5 months have passed since the expiration date. But they still own the domain name. How can this happen?

All domain names they register are automatically upgraded to premium domain status. And even if the domain name is meaningless, they constantly pay and extend it.

Additionally, they still own an expired domain name. How can this happen?
