Domain ltd matters?

One thing comes up in my mind with this, that when on a specific search phrase all other search results have .com domain, but you have a .blog, .me, site, store,shop, coach etc,etc...yes you stand out and will get a higher ctr clickrate, that's it ....

But sounds weird when have your email address with me, blog, store domain.

it doenst effect at all, but i rather use .com cuz its cheaper, and ppl much familiar with .com
