Domain in <5000 in ALEXA

Hi guys, for how much I could have sell domain name which is in less than 5000 position in Alexa ?

what is the domain name? is the site monetized? how? all of these will be factors in your valuation.
 
Low alexa means nothing. All seasoned marketers know Alexa can be fooled easily. Domain age? Domain integrity? Backlinks? Backlink evaluation? Any PR? Source of traffic? Keyword driven, ppc or bots? I could type a page of considerations and if I ranked them by order of value, Alexa number would be near the bottom. However at that low of rank someone that knows how Alexa works could probably decipher a ton of metrics quickly to see any further investigation is warranted. I'm guessing not.

That being said, can you fake an Alexa ranking to under 5000? under 500,000 or 50,000 I guess, but 5000?
 
Alexa is not an USP Unique Selling Point. If you make money and has legitimate traffic you'll sell just fine if you have low alexa with nothing you're stuck.
 
I don't know, i was just asking how much are domains like this worth and for how much they can be sold. I am earning good money with PPC ads now so for me it's ok to keep this domain name.
 
If you earn $2,000 per month you can sell it for $20,000. Everybody knows this

Absolutely you can drive Alexa down to this range. It just takes longer and more resources but very doable. There's another post on here from someone that recently purchased such a domain in the 5000 Alexa range and found out after laying down 5000 Euros it has no traffic. It wouldn't surprise me if not related to the OP on this thread somehow. There was an incentive for this post and it wasn't to say I'm making money and gonna keep it. Before anyone lays down money for a domain with low Alexa you better consult an expert or do your homework.
 
Even fake alexa rank in range of 5000 would cost min. $1700/month to manage this level.
So it obviously has its value if people are willing to pay for it.
