free hosting is not recommended if you intend to make money with your site. Free hosting has many limitations and issues (they might even watermark / monetize your site themselves for their own gains)... much better to pay $5 a month for normal hosting....
Or, if you know you're only going to use 1 site ever you can get hosting for $5 / year, HostKoala have a plan for this, I'm pretty sure you can afford to spend $5 per year for hosting when you can buy domains for $13 / year
Anyway, for domain I recommend Namesilo, that's what I've been using and they're OK if you're not operating in a shady / black hat niche that could get you in troubles with domain registrars and / or hosting companies...
For hosting... hmm, I don't know what to recommend as I'm on the lookout for good hosting too. You can probably try one of the dime-a-dozen companies that are all over the internet, but they all have their flaws, so expect to have issues with all of them at some point
More popular hosters are: Namecheap, HostGator, Hostinger, Site Ground, BlueHost, etc. Just do a google search and you'll find plenty of them...
Or, since you're a newbie and you probably won't need many bells and whistles from your hoster you can use one from the marketplace, lots of cheap offers in there that can meet your (probably low starting) requirements:

As @tazarbm mentioned, you should never use free hosting ever.
It's not just horribly terrible, it can go sideways real fast. From as simple as just monetizing on your behalf to blatantly stealing your content/site.
And there is nothing you can do about it, considering you "ok'ed" to their ToS.
Free domains on the other hands, are more or less in the same boat, you can get some realllllllllll cheap, like namecheap/namesilo etc often have discounts.
Heck, if you can even find an Godaddy's starter kit webhosting+domain coupon (if it still exist, i remmeber seeing one earlier this year) for $10-$15 that's honestly a steal. Just move away after your website has grown.
If you must get real ones, unless they are for burner domains, only get them off stablished sites as they won't steal your domains.
In fact, if you currently have an ABN or from AUS ventraip is giving away a free .au domains

I think that some companies might giveaway free domain name but you need to pay for their hosting. Try to have a look at allwebhost - they should be good for WP. As for the domain name you need to contact them and ask accordingly if they can provide this for you.
