I have a tech blog in my native language (french) that is running for quite a few years already.
I also have an old domain name from a CMS that no longer exists, but still has thousands of links pointing (Ahrefs DR 75). It was a japanese CMS so almost all links are coming from that country.
I thought about writing an article about that CMS on my french blog (in french obviously) and then doing a 301 redirect from the CMS domain to my blog post.
It should help me getting more authority on my french blog, but is it a good idea?
