The domain that I want to purchase is expiring at the godaddy auction. The current bid is 12$ and there are only 3 hours left. There are no bids. The age of this domain is 8 years. Now if I let this domain expire and buy it 3 hours later from godaddy for 1$, will it still be the same age or will it restart the age? Now is it better to bid 12$ and secure the domain? ( I don't think anyone is going to buy it) . Also are these metrics good for PBN?

PR 2 , PA 32 DA 19, TF 5 CF 9, Ahrefs Domain rank 39, Ahrefs URL rank 13

Doesn't look like a very good domain for a pbn site but I'd suggest buying it auction rather than letting it expire if you really want it.

I'd run the domain into a backlink checker program (like ahrefs or majesticseo) and see if there are spammy links...If there are a lot I would stay away from it...

That TF and CF is kinda low

As far as DA and PA you gotta look at the backlinks man. All of that stuff ca be inflated, so u gotta go into Ahrefs or OSE or Majestic and visually look at the links, visit the links, look at the anchor text etc.

Dont rely on the metrics alone.

And you only save $1 by waiting until after the auction, you also run the risk of losing it that way. There is a whole seperate gang of buyers who pretty much ONLY buy from the closeout list(or whatever the name of the list is). One of those guys might be quicker on the trigger than you are.

Good luck

Its bad how majestic and ahrefs only give you about 3-4 attempts to run the website
