Hello,

Im trying to get into the domain flipping business,

and was wondering what metrics will increase the value of a domain...

So,

Lets say ive encountered a brandable (.com / .net or .org ) with less than 8 letters domain, that has:

TF: 20
CF: 10
DA: 18
PA: 20

Doenst Have any spam footprint.

This is just an example.

Lets say i bought this domain for 10 dollars.

Could this be easily sold in the 50$ to $100 range? Giving me profit...

This is speculative I know, but would like to see if anyone has experience in this area, and could shed some light on the subject.

Regards

Usually Its either domain NAME flipping OR SEO domains - its rare to have both and is usually irrelevant. For example the metrics you state may give SEO value of the domain say $100-150. However the name itself maybe is worth $5k. So completely different things. Of course if someone is looking for easy to remember nice brandable name, domain with some good links are nice bonus, but its rare to sell such name because of the links.

Piggyback the domain sold on flippa and reverse check there characteristics mostly prefer brandable name which is related to something in trend or the other approach is the domain wtih SEO value which is not a good approach for new person !!!

My 2 cents

If it's got both, getting a bit of traffic will give you a higher sale price.

From what I've seen buyers tend to be either domain buyers at 50 -500+ or SEO/traffic buyers at 500-2000
Above that it's very revenue multiple based.
