Domain extension for SEO

Hello, I would like to start multiple websites but this meanse more money for domains.

While a .com domains costs around ~10$ you can easily buy any 0.88$ domain from namecheap.

Now, does this matter so much for ranking in google and SEO at all? I will install wordpress and Yoast SEO so I guess everything would be covered from my side. Maybe .com would rank better and would be more trustable but would be harder to rank any 88 cents domain?

If $10 is too much for you to pay for a domain, then seriously, don't even bother with SEO unless you have some decent budget. You will be just throwing your money down the drain.

All TLDs should be equal though, but for sheer marketing purposes, I would stick with top TLDs. Especially when you can actually pick a fresh domain.

For real, 10$ is not much for a year but in my case, I want to start multiple websites. I know I should start one by one but I want to be sure at least few could get ranked properly and make some money. I've already lost more than 100$ with cpa so that's why I want to shrink a little bit the budget.

If I was talking about just one domain then this thread would not even exist lol.

Yeh, so you got budget of let's say $500 and instead of ranking 1 site for that, you rather split it to 5, spending $100 on each and not ranking anything at all. Good plan.
