Domain extension doesn’t matter?

Yes in my recherche you must buy the custom com domain to use it for business email marketing.
Like this: website is johns.blog with a gmail email address.
For business and email marketing buy a com domain like this: johnsblog.com, with that domain you can setup business email like;
[email protected], [email protected] or whatsoever.
Some people do that with when they have a good ranking website with new TLD domain, they use a similar com domain for business (email marketing)

Happy Sunday !
Thank you! And sorry that I make sometimes typing errors.....I'm typing to fast with my big fingers.....:anyway:

My thoughts the last months was that big company sites or media news sites not using one oif these new TLD's. That could be a mistake, now I try a search in icann whois with: cnn.news, it comes back with the result that is taken by Turner Broadcasting System and cnn news is one part of this big conglomerate.
By the way, whas Ted Turner not the mysterious guy who gave the order for a hidden friend to build the Georgia Guidestones?

Happy Sunday

Domain extensions like .com, .net, .it, or .fr do not directly impact rankings in search engines compared to extensions like .xyz or .bit. What matters more is the quality of your website, including its content, backlinks, and user experience. However, popular and region-specific domains like .com or .fr might seem more trustworthy to users, which could indirectly affect traffic and engagement, improving SEO.

Use these new TLD's in a smart way like emd domain, look at these big media news websites, they all have a .com domain, but they have a .news TLD too ! (based on my recherche), Brand intent searching, users typing in Bloomberg as example and all their multiple url's (from one domain!) popping off. So when users type in Bloomberg news then it goes via redirect from bloomberg.news to bloomberg.com....

You can use that for your site too, example you are in the fitness niche and you do blogging every day and you have a com domain.
users will not only typing in google your Brand name they will type in (examples) Johndoe fitness, johndoe sport, johndoe blog, johndoe lifestyle into google and guess what? Grabb more traffic zo your .com domain when you buy a few new TLD's too like
fitness, coach, sport, life, lifestyle, blog whatsoever and whammm! Redirect them via 301 to your .com domain !

When you are in the marketing niche with a blog, then use these TLD's: marketing, coach, consulting, blog, and more of these TLD who are relevant to marketing. You think these methods not matter in google's eyes, blablabla...but one moment, think about it, there is a reason why big company sites doing this! Think out of the edge and think deeper !

Google doesn't care, but potential visitors might. It's just not as trustworthy as .com or other traditional domains

Yes I agree, this is why using them as 301 redirect to your .com domain is the "Plan B" version !

I guess when you try to get clients from LinkedIn, they will more likely doing business when you have a myname.com domain instesf of shorter firstname.blog like the Tim Ferriss example of tim.blog ?

Domains .com/.it/.net/.fr etc rank better than .xyz/.bit etc? Ord doesn’t matter?
My top-performing websites using .xyz and .onl domains /// .com domains perhaps bring a slight advantage, but not in terms of SEO - it's more about the trustfactor - people tend to trust com/net/org more.

Domain extensions do matter for SEO
.com is still king (most trusted), country specific tlds like .t, .fr etc help local SEO
.org, .net have moderate credibility
.xyz, .bit are less trusted by search engines
Choose ".com" if possible, especially for global targeting....

So, 50% of people told that does matter.
50% of people told that doesn’t matter.

Really good :D

Domains .com/.it/.net/.fr etc rank better than .xyz/.bit etc? Ord doesn’t matter?
Traditional domain names such as .com, .it, .net, and .fr usually have more advantages in user recognition and search engine rankings than emerging domain names such as .xyz and .bit because they have a long history and are widely used. However, the impact of domain name suffixes on SEO is limited. High-quality content and good user experience are the key to improving rankings.

I would prefer to have a dot com domain rather than .shop or .xyz or .net or .pro domain

Normal the whole world knows these modern tld extensions, but when the majority is reluctant to these new tld's , then I must say, old habits will never change. Normal human brain likes it to learning new things or liking new products, but here with new tld's not, that's a fascinating phenomenon. Yep, slave planet earth welcome! So many bad things happen around the world, what people do with their kids and pets ,animals ( I not mean here the "Elites" they are more worse) millions of people believing the lies of their politicians- so I saw that with the vaccine program ..........so I often think, human evolution is stucked sometimes, I wonder! Dumb- believe all things what the higher ups telling you like in middle age! People come on! You can do better !
