Hi,

I couldn't find a proper source on my question after a bit of googling so here goes, a few cases:
I have a North American website (.com) and I am buying a backlink from a very obviously indian english website, where the audience is mostly indian, that has excellent statistics and is a .com on top of it.
Do I get the same value out of this backlink for my North American website compared to an indian but english speaking website?

Another use case:
I have a North American website and can have an excellent .co.uk website.
Same question as above, does the .co.uk website loses any value because of the domain extension being .co.uk compared to linking from a .co.uk website?

And a last one:
I have a French Website, with a .fr domain extension and I receive a backlink, from an english speaking website to my french speaking website. Same niche, same everything really except extension name and language.
Compared to the other 2 or in general, is this a bad idea?

And of course, for both cases, the backlink is relevant and has killer metrics.

Discuss!
