Hi guys!

I've been scraping domains to build my first PBN, but still haven't found the best way to bulk check a lot of domains for metrics.

I've used Market Samurai to check Majestic SEO metrics, but for some reason Market Samurai doesn't return majestic seo metrics anymore, just leaves an empty space. Is it the same for you guys?

It seems that MOZ metrics aren't the way to go either.

So guys, what do you use to evaluate domains? (and I mean bulk check, not one by one)

Although the metrics should not be the only evaluation method, it helps trim down the list.
So I bulk check them with a few tools:
- pa, da check and remove those with no DA or DA bellow 10; for example something like: http://www.seoweather.com/bulk-metrics-checker/ it checks about 100 in one go; there are other solutions as scrapbox PA addon, etc;
- majesticseo - bulk check every 150 domains and remove those with TF bellow 5 or 10; I also avoid those with CF a lot higher than TF;
- ahrefs bulk check and remove those with total referring domains lower than 10;

So trim using the metrics you find suitable.

After this is manual check for the link profile and webarchive (for previous spam, ilegal stuff, previous pbn use, redirects, foreign content, pharma or adult).

How do you majestic seo bulk check without limits? With their subscription?
And ahrefs aswell?

You have to use multiple tools for metrics, market samurai is good too for majestic metrics, for ahrefs you will have to do manually I suppose.

That was to the point, I even would go higher:

DA>15
CF and TF >10 (better >15) and TF equal CF (CF/TF ratio is great for testing trust of a domain)
BL > 15, ref Domains >10
not more than 3 registrars and not more than one drop

That helps to filter out most Spam and than the most important part to check manually all backlinks on Ahrefs as it's best for checking back links.
Anchor best to check at majestic, but also ahrefs. Than you need wayback machine for history and domaintool*com for checking no of registrars and drops.

Cheers
Dan

Good to know I'm not the only one; I was about to post a thread on this. It was working fine until yesterday sometime, so hopefully it will just be temporary.

Just a heads up that Majestic stats are working again in Market Samurai :)

Metrics are misleading and commonly inaccurate. I've sold hundreds of domains here on BHW, and I've found many great domains with low metrics and many bad domains with great metrics. The only way to check if a domain is decent, is from the backlink profile.

We check for natural PR backlinks, this is the only way to ensure SEO value.

Yes, I can confirm. Market Samurai shows all metrics again.

So, as I can understand you all use paid subscriptions either for majestic or ahrefs.

Ok. Thanks guys!

Why still Every One Looking for PR Domains.. It's a Outdated Metrics Now.. About to be 12 months and No Update.. DA/PA is also can be Manipulated but what you can't is Majestic Metrics. So Look for that Mainly.. But if you find Domains which has 30%/70%(Referring Domains%/Total backlinks%) then you can use it.. And also that domains Must not have more than 500 Backlinks will be Good..

Few Domains also has very Less Backlinks(Like 5-10) but 100% Quality Backlinks which is More Better.. Like a Domains with a Single backlinks from DA70+ and TF 40+ Domains with 100 Normal backlinks is Best...
