I've been messing about writing a script which will catch ccTLD domains (mainly .io tlds). I've started by using an api which sends lots of requests to purchase a domain just before it expires but not had any luck so far. Do I just need more registrars and send lots of requests to these in parallel or are there other options. I'm not competing with the likes of Namejet or Pool as they don't catch .io domains. There are some smaller sites that do this so don't believe they have anything special I wouldn't be able todo.
Even the smallest sites have 100x better rig and setup than you have. Unless you go for really shit domains, you will not catch anything ever. Maybe with 10 registrar accounts, big VPS and amazing connection you might be able to catch 1 average domain in 100, but apart of that, it's not worth the bother.
Ok, makes sense. Would the main difference between me and then be the amount of servers trying to buy the domain? What would an example setup be for these small guys?
