    Hi everyone,

I just checked some stats for my site and blog, and think it is weird how a "subdomain" is ranking higher than the main site. I ran both sites through numerous PR checks and they all spit out the same answer. I am not sure exactly why this is, but I do know that the main domain of my site just consists of one page - whereas my blog has much more content (with plenty of social signals). Even though there will be a simple answer to this, I still think that this is very weird...

    Subfolder: domain.com/*

It just means there are more links/link juice running to your blog pages than your index.

I was meant to say subfolder... Anyway, this confirms what I've been thinking. The main domain is one page that is like an online c.v, and the rest is my blog.

And this explains it perfectly. Quite obviously people tend to link to your blog, rather than to the online CV page.

Also, your blog has unique content!?! being updated on a regular basis where as your home page may stay the same. Obviously updated unique content attracts the search engines attention more.
