so i want to buy a domain but it is owned by another person.according to whois the expiry date is soon.So i want to know will the owner get any information that their domain is expiring soon in mail or any other means and will they have any days given after the expiry date to renew the site.it is hosted on godaddy

Yes, they will get multiple emails before it is expired.

And even after expiration there is normally a grace period of 10-25 days to renew their domain, they will get tons more email from registrar during this period

registrar send multiple emails before to expire ,more over after expiry date they will never release the domain may be will gone on registrar auction list

My advice don't waste your time. Look for another new domain

Some owner never renew. Registrar take it them self and never release it

Could you explain better?
I am in domain industry since years and I've never seen situation like this.
Maybe for new extension, where greedy register reprice their domains after expiration with a TIER 1 price tag, but they don't own for themselves and never release it.
For legacy tlds like com, net, org NEVER happened.

so lets say i have a abccompany.com and there is another website abccompany123.com.so the abccompany123 is already bought by some other guy.so is there any way i can get the domian .like i was thinking the day and the time its gets expired i will get the domain

To be honest it is a big difficult understand your message and the scenario.
If you own example.com and there is a developed site on example123.com.co it is possible that the .com.co owner want to upgrade to .com domain.
At least for a brand protection prospective.
But.... if .com was unregistered there is a reason.
Good domains (in 2018) are not available for reg fee.
And good expired domains will always grabbed by dropcatch companies (dropcatch, snapnames).
But without knowing the domain name are only suppositions.

Yes, he will get notify about it. And, anyway, if he don't pay on the expiration date, he have another 30 days of grace.
