How do domain bans work with Facebook?

I know with Google if your ad gets suspended your domain is perma banned

But I've had BM's get banned before and then ran the same ad with the same domain and its ran just fine

Or does it matter if the ad account gets banned , lmk

In my experience, Facebook doesn't always block domains for good right away like Google does. Sometimes the limits are more about the ad account, Business Manager, or policy infractions than the domain itself. Instead of pushing the restrictions, I suggest that you focus on following their ad rules and warming up your accounts appropriately. This is because enforcement can be uneven and alter over time.

fb mostly bans the account or BM first, but if you keep using the same domain on new accounts it eventually gets blacklisted.

fb only bans domains for heavy policy violations, if its just a bm ban you can usually reuse it.

On Facebook it’s mostly account and BM level, not instant domain perm bans like Google, but if the domain gets flagged too many times it will get restricted across accounts, so it depends what actually got hit.

Facebook is more friendly than google because the infraestructure "per se" as others mentioned already facebook can hit trough ad level, ad account, suspicious payments or whatever. Troughout all these years I have seen lots of customers running multiple camapaigns in the same BM. after being suspended. So they just change creatives and relaunch and that's it no matter what niche or vertical you're running. At the end of the day what really matters is the whole infraestructure itself related manual activities, proxies, successful payments and proper cloaking techniques.

facebook usually bans ad account or bm first, not always the domain, domain get flagged only if many violations, so depends on account history and trust score.

yeah fb is way more lenient than google with domains. google will blacklist your domain forever but fb usually just kills the ad account or bm. that said if you keep reusing the same domain across multiple banned accounts fb will eventually catch on and flag the domain too. i usually rotate 2-3 domains just to be safe, cheap insurance honestly.

domain bans and account bans are often connected
once an account gets flagged, domains can also be affected

seen many similar cases recently
some setups can still be fixed depending on situation

Most bans don't affect your page or ads; if one account gets banned, you can switch to another. However, if you get banned too many times, it could be because your posts violate Facebook's policies.
