Domain backorder

Hi

there are a domain will expire in 16-05-2012 ( expire date from whois) and i wanted to get it

so if i made a backorder, will i get it in 16-05 or i have to wait around 30 days until it's totally available ?

You'll need to wait through the redemption period unless the domain is registered at the same place your backordering from. Also there is no guarantee that you'll get, other people could have backordered it too. To increase your chance backorder it at multiple places.
