Bitter Truth: Increase in DA is no guarantee for higher ranking in Google for certain keywords. So don't have any such expectations. DA can be increased both white hat way (took time) or Blackhat way (happened fast). Your ranking in Google, however, depends on the niche you are in, your competitor's websites etc and many factors in Google's algo. Backlinks can definitely help but, honestly, SEO is a very patient game.
