Domain Age?

    I was confuse with how to determine age of domain,is start from when we buy(who.is)or the date of we get index(site:xxx.com)?

    From my understanding its from when you bought the domain name.

    But on the other hand if you don't have a site up on it then it really doesn't matter what the age is cause your not going to make anything.

    Domain Age is determined by who.is not from date of indexing... Some times site get deindexed and then again indexed so it will create problem if we rely on indexing... Also domain age is universal and it can't be judge on basis of any specific search engine.

    Although as pointed by others just domain age means nothing... You need to have web presence to get benefited from it's age value.
