I have a question about domain aging.

So I got a domain through a domain transfer. The domain is 13/14 months old. When I got the domain, the thing is, there was no content on it whatsoever.

I want to know if I've had my blog up for almost a month on this site, and I'm already shifting between bottom page 1, bottom page 2, does Google see my site as being 13/14 months old or the sole month it's recently had content?

There were about 10 total backlinks on the site according to site explorer. So I know the site had something once upon a time meaning it was probably indexed by Google relatively soon after it was originally registered.

It will probably show as 13/14 month old unless it was completely offline for more than a couple of weeks or so.

Get SeoQuake plugin for firefox that will show backlinks, age, pr etc all in your browser..

Sorry not sure on the answer regarding domain age, however if you want to view what content was on that domain in the past, try..

    http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

That site keeps archive snapshots of what domains looked like in the past.
