I have some exact keyword .com domains for a client but they only want to use their established brand name website which does not contain the keyword.

Does a simple 301 redirect from the .com domains with exact keyword match pointing to their branded website give any juice or help in serps?

The domains have never been used.

Did you explain the advantages to developing the exact match keyword domain? A 301 redirect would not do much, there's most likely little to no traffic on those newer, unused domains. Maybe develop a minisite with unique, relative info on the unused domain, try and give it it's own indexing, pagerank, etc. you will than be able to share some "link juice". good luck

A 301 from an undeveloped domain is worthless. I agree with ifart that minisites are way better. But host them on unique ips. You can find plenty of free hosting for this if you search for it.
