Hello,

I have a huge problem with my anty browser.
Somehow it keeps updating (goes from 0 -> 100% and then just starts at 0 again).

Does somebody know how to solve this issue?
Also; when it cant be solved what do I have to export to get my profiles with 100% exact
settings back on another machine?
I need my adwords accounts :weep:

--edit--
Just realized I cannot export cookies on the free tier, is it enough to export "local storage"?
What exactly does that mean?

That update loop issue in Dolphin Anty is likely caused by a corrupted update process or failed file write permissions.

Run Dolphin as Administrator: Sometimes update files can't write properly without full permissions.
Check Internet and Firewall Settings: Make sure Dolphin’s update service isn’t being blocked.

Have you already tried some very simple possible solutions? Like reset your pc, try to connect with another network?

if nothing works, your profiles are safe and you can restore them in another machine as far as I know

Most likely a bug or a corrupt profile issue. Try clearing the update cache or reinstalling the browser. If that doesn’t help exporting full profiles makes sense but the free tiers limit that.

Local storage holds session-related data (ad preferences, site behavior), but it’s not a full cookie backup.

Thank you for your replies.

Yes I checked everything you suggested, but nothing helped.
Also deleting and reinstalling dolphin made no change.

I am not completely sure what caused the error, but I managed to get it up and running again with the help
of the dolphin support.

Since I am running Linux, I am not sure how well this can be implemented on a windows machine but in general
I had to navigate to .config/dolphin/browsers and delete everything in this folder except for a folder called "148".
After deleting everything else I had to replace the files in the 148 Folder with some new files the support sent to me in a .zip-file.
Afterwards I started dolphin, the update succeeded and everything runs fine again :)

Nice one, thanks for updating with the fix. The update loop you had sounds like classic partial write error during patch, so wiping the config/browser folder and replacing the files manually is probably the cleanest way out.

Should apply the same on Windows too. If others hit this, your 148 folder tip might save them hours.

Yes that was my intention.
There's nothing more annoying than searching on google for a problem, finding a thread about the exact same problem only to then read "Problem solved!" without any explanation at all
This is a very clean solution as you wont lose your browser profiles and dont need to export any cookie data whatsoever :)

A way to do it without the files from the support might be to setup a fresh dolphin on a VM or second machine and then take the fresh browser config files from the 148 folder.

If DolphinAnty is stuck in a loop, try running it as admin, disable antivirus/firewall, or delete update.json in AppData; if that fails, do a clean reinstall.

To move profiles 100% accurately, export the entire profile (not just local storage) via the paid plan — free tier doesn’t include cookies, and local storage alone is not enough for Adwords sessions to work.

Yes I already found the solution. But thank you very much for your reply :)

If DolphinAnty loops, try admin mode, disable AV, or delete update.json; reinstall if needed. For proper profile transfer, use full paid exports—local storage alone won’t keep Ads sessions.

find the profiles created here C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\dolphin_anty\browser_profiles - replace [USER] with the name of your PC

you can archive them and save them in another folder

uninstall Dolphin Browser and install the latest version

to restore old profiles with cookies you will need to create a new profile and replace the profile contents with the archived ones
example old profile with cookies 593066511
new profile name 693066511
just rename the old profile with the new name
