Man, I have been over this and over this. I've been to substack, chatgpt, reddit, no one seems to have any info on this. I've searched every single settings option and built in menu.

(BTW, I highly recommend dolphin anti, it is awesome.)

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I open up a profile browser and watch it launch, it simply LOVES to re-open all the tabs from the previous session. And some of those tabs... really... really... really... should not be opened. The reason for this is that I use a browser based command to reset my network and I really don't want reddit/facebook/google/etc to have a good look at me until my IP address has been reset.

Surely....

Surely there must be a way to stop the browser from restoring the previous session. Surely. Doesn't @Dolphin Team frequent this forum? Can we chat?

It's better to contact them directly because this is not their support forum and they will respond much faster that's what i think.

Yeah, okay, ya know, in a perfect world that might be true. There are plenty of examples from the 1990s when a person might find themselves having a difficult time unearthing information and they just call up customer support and immediately get an experienced tech wizard to drop some wisdom on them.

But this is 2024. I have no way of knowing if their four statement non-faq even connects to someone employed by the company. Besides, I have no doubt that I am not the first person to run into this issue and it would benefit me greatly to learn how other forum members worked around the problem.

The only way is to manually close every tab and then start a new tab to the home page before you stop the profile.
This is also a problem for me but I just got used with it. Or just use another browser

I was afraid that was the case. Thank you for the confirmation my friend. Ironically, I can make a macro that will do this for me. Automation for automation is seemingly what this task will require. It will be hilarious if it were not so annoying.

But thank you for telling me. :D

Yes you got the answer you gotta close the tabs
