Been with them for a week. Experience:

Support is non-existent
WHM is timing out or not available ...

Conclusion:
Stay the f*ck away.

Last thread was about sites getting hacked, now I'm just stating my experience

Yeah, it's Blackhat_Guru and he only comments in threads where he tries to sell his hosting plans, when it comes to actual support, or face the issues that his dollarseohosting company is having, there are only excuses, and pointing a finger back at the client for being wrong and expecting normal server speed and actual timely support replies when only paying 1$/ip.

Doesn't look particularly good for them, also given the vulnerability exposed the other day?

sorry this happened to you, but thats the reason why you stay away from crappy $1 hosts

you get what you pay for, simple

There's a reason why people are paying $6-20 (10 times the amount) to hosts like NameCheap

yeah lesson learned for sure :)

Well the first thing you should remember is to have DAILY backups of your blog network sites(If you actively posting on them) when you are going with cheap hosts since they can die anytime..when that happens just move to another host and transfer.

What can you expect from cheap shared hosting...
I wouldn't put my sites on such hosting but maybe some short term black hat project ;)

my sites were part of my private blog network, my money sites are all on good dedicated servers :)

Not all $1 host's are rubbish, there are some real decent ones with great support. You just have to do a bit of digging around and you will find some.

Yeah all my sites were hacked too. Luckily I was only starting out with them. 13 WP sites hacked. Will cancel now.

Fucks sake! JUST recieved email saying I got billed for this month. Should have done it 30 minutes before. Ah well. Only $20...

I find it amazing that anyone would expect any kind of decent service for $1.

It's like Fiverr gigs. People buy those for $5, the seller gets $4 and the buyers demand premium services and complain about cheap SEO and cheap services on Fiverr.

Listen if you're buying something for $5, it is very likely it's NOT going to lead you to #1 on google or anywhere. if it could, then everyone would just invest $5 and be #1.

Same thing with hosting. If $1 hosting was any good, why would anyone pay for plans elsewhere?

Taking your fiverr example, it's more like:

You buy a 5$ gig for 2000 facebook likes, you get 200, you complain, and the seller says, "i been having issues with my system, and you only paid 5$, so i think 200 likes, is fair, and I'm moving to a new system soon, so maybe I'll be able send you more likes later".

ThunderC and Russian425 are agents of seowebhosting.net

I repeat, that if you are seowebhosting.net customer, we are offering 2 months free.

If you are switching from other hosts, I suggest you wait, as our server is overflowing with new customers.

We are in the middle of network upgrade followed by server upgrade to 64 cores.

Check us out in a week.

Thanks

BHG

I haven't even heard about seowebhosting, before it was brought up in threads about dollarseohosting.

Somethings to remember when you decide to use dollarseohosting

1. make sure you have daily backups and download them to your local machine (or remote server)
2. make sure you don't need any timely support and are ok with waiting over 24 hours for a reply
3. make sure you have low expectations, and that you are not an American (as it looks like Blackhat_Guru doesn't like Americans even tough he is one himself)
4. prepare yourself for daily downtime, and slowness.

If the above are cool with you, then dollarseohosting is the place for you

*Anybody who wants proof, I have screen caps, of the high level of support, dollarseohosting is providing.*

Believe it or not, we see BHW responses as a way to gauge our service quality. We see fellow blackhatworld'rs, as someone who expects decent quality for $1/ip.

It was unfortunate we depended on support personnel from Philippines, who we all know are the best people to work with, for American work ethic (of time mainly). When the Typhoon hit Philippines, our 2 hr average support response became a 2 day support response as we could not reach our support personnel located in Philippines. It is a lame excuse. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way not to depend on one country for support personnel.

(Indian workers are far more educated, and good at following instructions, but lack the concept of delivering on time. Seems like the English have really screwed Indians up? Or perhaps, that Indians really believe that time doesn't exist in real terms and exists only in relative terms :)

As you know, when many of you joined our service, we had the fastest SEO server on the market with load under 2 or 3.

We really are trying to get back to that level. Hopefully, several hardware upgrades we intend to perform will get us there. This will take place in stages and will be completed over the next 30 days.

In spite of the hacks, our subscriptions have doubled. Even though we sent out an email alerting everyone about the hacks.
Ironically, 6 of the 8 customers effected are the only 6 who got effected first time. Is it possible they are using a plugin that is outdated or one that has a security hole to begin with?
It was only fair that we alert all our customers, even though it meant letting them all know about the hacks will result in losing some customers, which of course we did.
New subscriptions are just shooting through the roof, even though we have cut down 75% of our ads.

Makes no sense? or People see that we are sincerely putting an effort to deliver quality SEO hosting for $1/ C class?

Many of our customers have commended our honesty, for warning everyone of hacks taking place on our server.

For anyone using WP, let this be a lesson, that WP sites are NOT secure.

1. Always backup. No matter who your host is. Even Seohosting.com.
2. Use minimal number of plugins. Better none at all.
3. Use a super strong password.
4. Stay updated to the latest version of WP.

Better yet, go back to good old html sites and you are least likely to get hacked.
You will also stay under Google radar for blog farms.
