There is nothing hard, just use cryptsy or other trading platform for buying and selling.

What are the commissions and spreads like on these things? I probably wouldnt trust my money with an unregulated broker, a lot of bitcoin brokers shutting camp and running off with money or getting hacked and having all their funds jacked. Wow much profit!

48 hrs ago it was at 0.00000055, it's now over 4x higher than that at 0.00000235. (Conversion rate to BTC) If you really want to see something crazy, look at the difficulty charts for the last week, it's more than doubled. Also, you can buy Steam credits/games now with Doge, not to mention the DogeRoad. Lol. :) much interest, very hype!

Really sorry for the lame question but never been into the whole bit-currency thing. Interested to buy some Doge or Litecoins for fun though. Any way to do this through Paypal or card without going into tons of different exchange platforms?

Short of dealing directly with someone, not really, and good luck with that. I wish it was different, but in general there's a lot of scumbags out there working online. Lot of junkies hiding behind monitors, and as such you have to be very careful who you deal with. I've found it best to just keep a tight circle and deal with the hoops you have to jump through. It saves a lot of headaches in the long run. Obviously that's a blanket statement and there's plenty of excellent, well intentioned people as well, but it just seems like for every 1 or 2 people that I meet that seem legit, I see 2 or 3 others that are just looking for the fast buck. The lack of vision that I see on here day in and day out is amazing.

Anyway sorry about that, lol. Long story short, stick with the exchangers, especially while you're getting started. After you learn a little more and maybe make some connections you will have much better options as by then you will have probably met and spoke with a few people and might be able to work trades through them, or just the simple fact of being better informed and therefore able to better protect against scammers. I'm mining personally so I haven't had to deal with anyone yet, but at some point down the road I will exchange these. I'm going to just use an exchanger though, no way I'm going to deal with some of the BS I've read about.

Has anyone here ever tried https://www.dogefordollars.com? Also is anyone here willing to sell $20 worth of doge coin?

Screw this, I'm gonna keep on mining. I'm not hitting myself over the head again, I could've mined bitcoin waaay back but didn't really believe in it.

You'll probably see more of these pop up. Problem is, there's no way to protect against chargebacks, so I dont' know how successful it'll be. There's really nothing stopping people from saying they didn't get their coins, and while you can prove they did through the block explorer, good luck explaining that to Paypal. They can't even moderate their own transactions properly, so I wouldn't expect much if you were to run into trouble there either. The best way to do thing is through a neutral 3rd party that will hold both parties money in escrow until transactions are complete on both ends. If I knew how to, I'd develop my own exchanger site to do just that. For now though you'll have to stick with Cryptsy, BTC-e, bter.com, etc.

i see a lot of people who know about crypto currency on this thread..can some one direct me to a post or link where i would be able to understand these crypto currencies how do they work? and how do turn them to money please? ...thanks

Been mining for a while now. Bought a few 10k when the price was 8 times lower. much profit.

My suggestion would be: Wait for the price to drop; buy as much as you can; profit.

TO THE MOON!

Those coin are just like forex, I have been playing forex for a while and have a decent knowlegde of it. In my view it's gonna increase value tommorow due to day trading !!! Well the main reason i'm, not joining this market because I don't really like the chart and can't find broker to buy :))

So many people here have no idea what dogecoin is and why its going to be big makes me lose so much credibility to the information given on this site.

Then the idiots that think its a joke so they don't invest and make any cash LOL.

Why is dogecoin going to be big ? Why not the other currencies such as ripples, Earthcoin and so on ?
