Dofollows vs No follows

Mix them up and see which gets you better results. I always prefer ********

I prefer multiple Do follow because Do follow links permit google to follow and reach our website. Giving us backlinks and link juice.

Both are best as Do-follow provides page ranking and NoFollow offers traffic.

I check 3 things in backlinks niche , traffic and if its a do or no follow. In your case I will take 30 DA do-follow links.

Do Wikipedia links are worth it? i i know they have very high DA but many tend to choose other authoritative sites over Wikipedia.. why is that?

Do medium site backlink really boost up your site metrics????

do-follow and no-follow links need to be equal to look natural.

do follow get traffic but no follow don't but show diversity for link building.

you need to understand SEO structure with links to understand in-depth do follow and no follow understanding.

There are some comments here that are sensible, but unfortunately a bunch of people talking about something that they clearly know diddly-squat about.

For starters, Google already stated last year that they will use no follow as a 'hint' for ranking purposes. That means it's quite likely that it will contribute towards ranking at least in some instances. Here is a link to an article on Seach Engine Land stating that.

Even before that announcement, there have been a great many people who believed that no follow links could directly influence ranking, despite Google claims to the contrary previously. Why? Because anyone with any common sense in SEO does not take tips, advice, and comments from Google at face value.

At the end of the day, asking such a broad question is fairly pointless as it is patently not a black and white issue. It depends on a whole range of issues and should be assessed on a case by case basis. Some of the things to consider; your aims, the sites themselves, the cost (i.e value for money?), traffic, your existing link profile (current follow vs no follow etc). Plus potentially a whole heap of other things.

Broadly speaking, and with some exceptions, everything posted in this thread should be taken with a pinch of salt. Very little of it - especially the poll - can actually be considered useful and you are far better off looking to test this yourself if you want to draw any reliable conclusions.

Apologies to the handful of people who posted in this thread with useful and sensible comments. I just tire of the bullshit from users who have zero clue and simply want to rehash something they have read elsewhere on the internet.

they are nofollow... they won't boost anything

There should be a fair balance between both follow/no-follow link. That's my two cents.

Combine this with relevancy and you can build yourself a decent link-profile.

No-follow links are less valuable than Do-follow links. And Do-follow backlink passes the link juice

I prefer Do-follow link it tells the crawler that it refers the link and the crawler should follow the link to the website. No-follow links are also good when you get high DA links

I have seen serp movement with nofollow links alone. It could be from anchor text diversification or it could be nofollow links hold SEO authority that no one is talking about.

Many so called experts would lead us to believe that only do-follow links pass page rank. But is that all that matters when using backlinks to increase rankings? I don't think so.

With that said, I would probably choose the multiple do-follow backlinks. Not because they are do-follow, rather because it will result in multiple backlinks and anchors.

I think the logic that only do-follow links will help your SEO is a bunch of Google Kool-aid.

For ranking and link juice purpose only follow link will help out but you should gain both follow and nofollow to maintain balance between both to be safe from link schemes and google algorithm penalties.
