Hi,

Does YouTube push old shorts? Or if it's not exploded in like 2 days, it won't ever?

Shorts, they are like their name.
If the short haven't gotten good traction in the first one / two weeks most likely it won't "blow up" later.
 
Unless you reupload a short and this time you use a catchy name.

It got 27k views, and it slowed down. So, there's a chance that it can blow up. Thanks for the explanation.

Reuploading is a good idea.
 
I think it’s depends on your content, is it evergreen or will saturate.

I have an evergreen shorts that suddenly explode after around 1 month and still going strong.

that's what shorts are good for, no need to wait months for results, unlike SEO
 
It is very difficult if it has been a long time since the videos. If you constantly upload new videos, it will accelerate.
 
Most of the time youtube don't push old shorts sometime it explodes coz of related trending videos
