In my articles I placement the youtube videos.
Does youtube act as a authority???

yes, if the youtube videos are relevant to your niche.
But dont take it too seriously... it can help but not too much

What would help even more is IF somebody would link you in their videos ;)

To improve your odds, you could use do-follow You Tube links, which would definitely pass the juice over to your page. Do a forum or other seacrh for current ways to get a DF link from YT for details.

Youtube is a social media no-follow then how it pass the rank to my blog so I confused.

i think there is not much value if you get youtube backlinks. you better try other linkbuilding techniques.

Youtube does not pass anything.. but do what you want.
You are 100% right Bro,
I have received the same reply from white hat forum. If I try to ranking via insert high authority youtube, facebook, twitter it's waste of my time. I leave this strategy first omg! my time waste.
Thank you for your valuable advice.

Hi,

No. YouTube links will only carry traffic. There's no ranking benefit associated with it.

If you were meaning putting YT videos on your post - that means diversifying your post with various types of content with the goal of making the visitor to stick longer on your website, and reduce bounce rate in the process - then, yes, putting YT videos can definitely help your site in that aspect -just make sure that your site isn't spammy.
If you were meaning putting a link on a YT video (the YT page) - this does not pass link juice as the links are no follow, but having that video there help you build a brand for your website instead, which is also good in the long term, but not immediate term.
