It seems like YouTube caps views. I'm not sure if its my imagination.

    I average around 120,000 views a day.

When I upload a new video, and it gets popular, one of my old videos will come down so I'm constantly at 120,000 views. I've been this way for a month. Like a newly uploaded video will start getting around 500 hits an hour. One of my old videos will then come down 500 hits an hour. It really does feel like I'm capped for some reason.

Has anyone else noticed something similar?

Usually when one of my videos go viral one or more of my older videos will also gain a rise, i just think it depends on the content you are posting maybe people are moving from your old videos to your new one?

Yea, thats definitely possible. Its just so frustrating. I upload new videos in the hopes of adding views instead of replacing them. Grrr.

HR views are important at the beginning. When you're sitting at 0 subs and 0 views you're invisible. You need something to start with. It becomes less important as views to your channel increase though. The most important thing is having interesting content. Once those HR views are turned off and its organic traffic coming in, if they immediately bounce without watching, you'll just sink back to 0.

Keep posting never give up, just takes one video to go viral for the possibility for all of your other videos gaining a rise, soon as you know what people want in your channel you will grasp what kind of videos you should be doing but even then people get bored so you have to keep improving and trying new stuff unless you become some sort of Youtube super celebrity. Hope this helped answer your question.
